Dear esteemed Parents,

We thank God Almighty for his mercies, love and goodness over every one of us throughout the 2021/2022 academic year, and we pray His love for us continue to grow in Jesus Name, Amen! Equally, we would like to thank and appreciate the parents for their consistent co-operation, understanding, supports, encouragement, advice and the trust they have in the school. God helping us, we would not like to, on any occasion, take any of these ways you have always been there for us for granted. We do trust God will continue to protect and provide you with all you need. In the mean time, the school would like to bring to your notice some necessary information as we hope to resume the next academic session, and this is detailed below:

1^st term (2022/2023) Academics Session.

1. TEXTBOOKS /NOTEBOOKS: Textbooks and Notebooks are important tools that can guarantee up-to-date learning in classes. Be reminded that the school only allows the use of notebooks branded “De-Rock”, and these can be collected at the school help desk having made all required/necessary payments. Also, to ease the stress of looking for textbooks to buy for your children, parents can access all textbooks at DE-ROCK bookshop, behind slot Phones, Adebayo Ado Ekiti. The school strongly advises the purchase of all recommended textbooks, including required number of notebooks by the resumption date. Additionally, every student should possess the Holy Bible, as well as De-Rock Hymn book, for use during the morning assembly, and for any other purposes for which they are purchased. The summaries of Payments for textbooks are as follow: JSS1-3 (#49,000), SS science class (#62,200), SS Art class (#48,800), and SS Commercial class (#43,200). Note that prices for all textbooks already attract discounts. Hence, take advantage!

2. THECHRISTMAS PARTY: The Christmas party is, as previously stated and broadcast, optional. Therefore, for this year’s Christmas celebration, parents who would like their children to celebrate with us can make their payments on or before 5^th, December 2022.

3. THE SCHOOL FEE AND THE BUS POLICIES: On the one hand, regarding the school fee, the school still maintains the existing installment payment policy which mandates an advance payment of up to 70% of the total fee before or by the second week of resumption, while the complete fee (remaining balance) is expected to have been paid up (100%) before the resumption from the Mid-Term break. On the other hand, the school bus payment policy still requires full payment be made on or before the 1^st day of resumption in order to enable and extend operation to your children’s end /destination.

4. DRESS SPECIFICATION: The school’s daily dress code still remains as the students have always observed. It is therefore pertinent to inform our esteemed parents that our students must always appear neatly dressed to school. Any student who does not dress in accordance with the daily dress code, or who appears different from others, dirty or unkempt shall be sent back home, having communicated/reported him or her to the parent.

5. HIGH QUALITY UNIFORM: Quality school uniform is part of standard. Hence, the school welcomes the wearing of quality uniforms/cardigans only. Accordingly, any student who appears in low quality school wear shall be sent back home right from the school gate.

6. OPEN DAY: Open Day is a day usually set aside for all students to see their parents. This special day, also, avails the parents of the opportunity to see and interact with their children in regard to their academic and social activities. On this note, De-Rock International Model College shall, henceforth, observe this day 14^th October 2022. However, the day programmed for this in every term shall be communicated to the parents later.
